Cats can eat cooked meats such as beef, chicken, turkey, liver and lamb as well as fish such as tuna, salmon and sardines.
Cats can also eat some fruits and vegetables such as blueberries, watermelon, strawberries, cantaloupe, apples, peaches, pears, raspberries, avocado, banana, mango, zucchini, carrots, pumpkin and broccoli.
Cats can eat some dairy products such as cheese and yogurt in small amounts.
Cats can eat some whole grains such as oats, corn, brown rice, barley and wheat berries.
Cats should avoid human foods that are toxic to them such as chocolate, grapes and raisins, onions and garlic, macadamia nuts, bread dough, alcohol and xylitol.
Cats should only get human foods as occasional treats and not as a substitute for a balanced cat food.
